Dental Crowns

The dentist will use a high powered ultrasonic scaler to brush your teeth then it will be followed by flossing and rinsing to wash any debris that might still be left.

Root canal

A root canal is a dental procedure where the dentist will remove the soft centre of the tooth, called the pulp. The pulp is made of a number of nerves, connective tissue, and blood vessels which aids the tooth to grow. During a root canal, the pulp is removed and replaced a filling that is made of a biocompatible material.

Root planing

This is a deep clean which is also known as scaling and root planing. An ultrasonic scaler is used to remove tartar from above and below the gum line, which is not reached during routine cleaning. Root planing is done under local anaesthetic to reach the deeper areas under the gingival tissue. In some cases, we may raise a gingival flap.
