A bridge is a prosthesis made to replace one or two missing teeth. It has abutment teeth on either side of the gap where the teeth that need to be replaced are. The crowns are prepared on these abutment teeth. They are joined to become continuous with the pontics or false crowns that replace the missing teeth. Pontics are made from different materials such as gold and porcelain, to blend in with your natural teeth.
